The Clark County Amateur Radio Club (CCARC) was organized in 1953 by a small group of local amateur radio operators in Jeffersonville, Indiana under the directions of the late Jack Himmelheber (W9JBQ). The club was incorporated as a non-profit organization in 1956 with the aim of promoting Amateur Radio as a hobby and to provide emergency communications for public safety agencies.
The CCARC Net meets on the air Wednesdays at 9:00 pm on 146.850. There is no PL tone.
All Amateur radio operators welcome to check in.
Club meetings are held every 3rd Thursday of the month at 7:30PM (19:30).
The location for the meeting is at the Moose Lodge in Sellersburg.
Hamvention will be held May 17, 18 and 19, 2019 at the Greene County Fairgrounds and Expo Center.
The Indianapolis Hamfest is on Friday and Saturday (7/12 - 7/13) at the Marion County Fairgrounds in Indianapolis, IN
The Central Kentucky Hamfest is on Saturday 8/10 at the Jackpot Bingo in Lexington, KY
The Greater Louisville Hamfest is on Saturday 9/7 at the Paroquet Springs Conference Centre in Shepherdsville, KY
