News: John Shean N9TV will be presenting on a couple topics next meeting. We will also be finalizing the voting for new club equipment, figuring out the date/time for the annual banquet, and voting for the Elmer and Amateur of the year. Also a reminder, this is the time of year to pay annual dues if you are under 65!


The Clark County Amateur Radio Club (CCARC) was organized in 1953 by a small group of local amateur radio operators in Jeffersonville, Indiana under the directions of the late Jack Himmelheber (W9JBQ). The club was incorporated as a non-profit organization in 1956 with the aim of promoting Amateur Radio as a hobby and to provide emergency communications for public safety agencies.

CCARC Repeater and Net

The CCARC Net meets on the air Wednesdays at 9:00 pm on 146.850. There is no PL tone.

All Amateur radio operators welcome to check in.

Meetings and Location

Club meetings are held every 3rd Friday of the month at 7:00PM (19:00). Everyone is welcome to stop by the Red Cross located at

Cave City Hamfest 3/3

Cave City is just around the corner! The first hamfest of the year for our area is going to be in Cave City, KY on Saturday March 3rd.

The 35th annual Columbus, IN hamfest is on April 7th this year.
