Clark County
Amateur Radio Club

Est. 1956

The Red Cross in Jeffersonville is in the process of selling the building we normally meet at for our monthly meetings. We are still able to use the facilities during this process, but we will be needing a new venue for future meetings. One suggestion is the Red Cross building in Georgetown, IN, but we are still searching for a new location. If you have any contacts or suggestions for a new place we could meet and set up our club station, we would love to hear about it!

The Clark County Amateur Radio Club (CCARC) was organized in 1953 by a small group of local amateur radio operators in Jeffersonville, Indiana under the directions of the late Jack Himmelheber (W9JBQ). The club was incorporated as a non-profit organization in 1956 with the aim of promoting Amateur Radio as a hobby and to provide emergency communications for public safety agencies.
